Meet the sidekick to our mailers: the Ecolabel. Like Batman and Robin, these products are inseparable in the fight against plastic. Unlike Batman and Robin, they are not extremely muscled or famous.
Instead of performing the frankly Herculean feat of tearing address labels from packaging before disposal, Ecolabels have a special adhesive that can be safely composted without leaving harmful residues. The thrill of receiving packages will no longer be soured by having to throw half the thing into general waste. Your customer can simply open, grin, and toss their package to the worms.
The first of their kind in Australia, Ecolabels are made to be industrially compostable. These shipping labels can be broken down in home compost too, but at present take slightly longer than the Ecomailers.
Coming in rolls of 250, they'll last a good while, and can be used for all major couriers including Australia Post, DHL, Startrack, TNT and more. Print these with our TSC Thermal Printer - it's good for you.Â

Ecolabel FAQs
These have been tried and tested in our warehouse, and they can, but they lose a little of their stickiness.
Ideally, yes. You can write on these if you absolutely must, but they don't hold ink particularly well. If you're wanting some more exciting designs on your sticky package counterparts, try our Ecostickers or Customisable Ecolabels.
Not all postage labels are made equal (or sustainable), but our Ecolabels are! They're home and industrial compostable.
A direct thermal label is embedded with a heat sensitive material that gets darker when exposed to heat. Science.
Thermal labels are heat sensitive, so they'll slowly fade when exposed to direct sunlight or heat. But! Do not fear! Even after 3 months in the sun, they'll still scan. We use these shipping labels for all our parcels, and we've found we can still scan them after 6 months. They'd have to sunbathe for an absurd amount of time to be unreadable.
So the long and short of it is, if you're printing something like a barcode that won't be in direct sunlight, you can expect it to stay scannable for up to a year. Just maybe don't take the package to your sunny beach holiday in Majorca.
Nope, a TSC Thermal Printer needs to print onto the good ol' heat sensitive stuff.
