HeapsGood compostable apparel bags are made with love... and a strict accordance with Australian domestic and commercial composting standards.

To gain these certiﬁcations, the garment bags must break down within 90 days in commercial compost and 180 days in domestic compost conditions. After biodegradation, they must leave no harmful residues behind.

For a professional finish
I love that these add a professional finish to the packaging. It was always a non negotiable that I don’t unnecessarily contribute to plastic waste with my new small business. Apparel Bag FAQs

Our compostable apparel bags are made from a combination of cornstarch, PLA (vegetable-based plastic material) and PBAT (composting co-polymer). If these sound like they'd be great ingredients for a cake, they're not. But the worms love 'em.

Our garment bags can be composted at home. Your customers will need to cut off the adhesive strip, and pop the rest straight into the compost.

Our bags can also break down in commercial compost. They can click here and find a composter near them, or ask their local council for a green waste bin if they haven't already got one. They also need to check that their council commercially composts bags, as it's done on a council-by-council basis!

Inner bags are perfect for retail! Protect your clothing, swimwear, lingerie, accessories and more from dust, dirt or unwanted wrinkles when shipping. They are also ideal for wholesale - print barcodes with our compostable DIY Ecolabels to stick straight onto your apparel bags.

It sure is! The apparel bags have a resealable adhesive strip that allows for multiple re-uses.

Our Medium or Square sized Ecomailers best fit the apparel bags, depending on how you fold your product. If you're shipping multiple items, go for a Large Ecomailer or Mailing Box.
