Introducing a world first: our bio-based Ecotape. Using a natural rubber adhesive and made from PLA, you'll never speak to plastic sellotape again.

Here for a good time and not a long time, Ecotape is certified to break down in a commercial composting facility within 60 days. Home composting takes a little longer, but Ecotape decomposes with zero toxicity, letting worms munch on the leftovers.

Unlike ugly old plastic tape, this sticky tape is made from renewable materials, making it the best eco-friendly option out there.

And here's one more nifty feature: Ecotape is hand-tearable, and can be used with a tape gun or our benchtop dispenser. That means you can reserve your teeth for more conventional activities, such as eating an apple, or affectionately biting a lover.

Each roll is 50mm wide and 80 metres long - almost twice the length of a standard roll of plastic tape!

Great product

I am so happy that I am using an eco tape now. I feel less guilty when taping products and it sticks very well. Good thickness and it has a good feeling (unlike some standard cheap tapes). Highly recommended!

Heaps good. Feels good.

I love using the Ecotape knowing that when used with the mailers, hex wrap and composting labels we can provide our customers a one stop compostable package solution with their orders. The tape is a little more expensive than plastic tape as one of my staff members pointed out. But it’s what you do when no one’s checking up on you that counts.

Ecotape FAQs

Sure is! There's Ecotape, and our water-activated paper tape. Our Ecotape is compostabe, and our paper tape is recyclable.

Our tape has a slight honeyed-tinge that looks a lot darker when rolled up. In a single sheet, it's see through.

Our eco packing tape is versatile as hell and works in both hand and desktop tape dispensers, so you can get sticking straight away!

You can, but you can also wield it with your hands if you like. Our recyclable tape is hand-tearable, making it a lot less fiddly.

We've worked hard to ensure it's just as good an option as normal sticky tape - except ours is a lot friendlier to the environment.

Both are environmentally friendly options! Paper tape is a slight winner because it's made from 99.9% recycled materials, but if you're choosing either, Mother Nature will be giving you a big thumbs up.
