Clear durable labels are only compatible with our Bluetooth Thermal Printer. They won’t work with TSC or any other thermal printers.

When things get wet, these don’t sweat it. Our Durable Labels are made for the moments where compostable just won’t cut it—think oily jars, drink bottles, chilled goods, or anything stored in damp or high-contact environments.
They’re smudge-proof, water-resistant, oil-resistant and BPA/BPS free, with a coated surface that holds up in cold storage, humid conditions, and rough everyday handling. All while working with the same direct thermal printers you already use no ink needed. They also pair perfectly with our Bluetooth Thermal Printer so your setup stays clean and efficient, just with extra durability baked in.
These labels aren’t compostable, so if you’re using a compostable mailer or packaging designed to break down in organic waste streams, we’d recommend sticking with our DIY Ecolabels instead.
But if your packaging is made from cardboard or paper and is intended for kerbside recycling think mailing boxes, rigid mailers, padder mailers then Durable Labels are still a smart option. In most Australian recycling systems, the paper is pulped into a slurry, which separates adhesives and coatings in the process. So while these labels won’t compost, they also won’t prevent your boxes from being recycled.
If compostable isn’t the right fit, durable might be the perfect one.

Printer Compatibility
- White, Colours & Holographic: Works with almost all direct thermal printers (TSC, Zebra, Munbyn, Bixolon, Godex, Rollo, Sato). Not compatible with Dymo or Brother.
- Clear Labels: Only compatible with our Bluetooth Thermal Printer. Standard USB printers cannot detect the gap on clear rolls.
Material & Disposal
- White & Colours: FSC® certified thermal paper. 100% Recyclable.
- Clear: Transparent BPA-free film. Not recyclable (general waste).
- Holographic: Shimmery silver metallic plastic. Not recyclable (general waste).
Cold & Wet Ready
- Cold storage safe: Suitable for fridges, chillers, and damp environments.
- Resists moisture, condensation, oils and light abrasion.
- Adhesive rated to –10°C to 50°C.
- Application: For best adhesion, apply to a dry surface at 5°C or above.
A note on sustainability: While our paper labels are 100% recyclable, our Clear and Holographic variants are made from durable films to handle the "tough stuff" that paper just can't. They aren't recyclable yet, but we've ensured they are BPA-free and built to last, so your branding stays put and doesn't end up as micro-clutter. We're always hunting for even greener alternatives, stay tuned!
